THE CATERPILLAR BOOK
Vern Miller Jr. 2 West Lakeview Trail; Lake Shawnee, Wharton, NJ 07885
ph: (973) 663-4120 fax: (973) 663-2321 email: vernbass@juno.com

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Vern Miller and I’m the bass player for The Caterpillar Book and The Remains (60’s band/opening act for The Beatles’ 1966 US Tour)

The Caterpillar Book recently completed our debut CD and I’d like to send a copy for you to consider us for performance at one of your community summer music series concerts.

The Caterpillar Book is a multi-generational band and all band members are experienced players, songwriters and singers with roots in the music of the sixties up to present rock and roll. I still actively record and tour with The Remains and our Lead Guitarist, John Williams, is also a member of The Cucumbers. Ryan O’Dell, Kris Van Cleave and Dan Mertens have played music together since meeting in college 15 years ago and received airplay on several NYC/NJ stations as members of The Skat Back Ribs and Sandbox.

You can check us out at our myspace link below.

Would you kindly contact me with the address and name of person(s) I should send it attention to? I can be reached easiest via email.

I thank you for your time and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best Regards,

Vern Miller

Thanks for sharing. The Al Clemente piece was awesome and if your purpose in showing this was to promote Ridgewood as a great place to live you did a superlative job. You obviously love your work as much as you love living there. I can see why you are a successful broker.

Costa - This is great info. I love blues. I thought Blend was more of a place for younger, trendy music. I will have to check it out. Thanks for sharing this info.

Another venue for live music in Ridgewood is Blend Bar on Chestnut Street. Every Wednesday night they host a blues jam with Nikki Armstrong, who leads the jam with fantastic pipes and high energy. And on Tuesdays at Blend there's the The Blend Singer Songwriter Showcase Live Music-Food Meetup at 7 pm. There's no cover for either event. Not free will be the Wood Brothers concert on August 22nd.
